You may have seen it in our studio, all those glittering glass pieces, rods and shimmering frit in a jar! Well, we are finally ready to do a proper launch on our Glass Fusing, Slumping and Jewellery Workshops. |

| How It Works? |
| The process of making your own stunning glass pieces and pendants involves choosing your project shape, learning the basics about scoring and cutting glass pieces and then making your own design. You can also buy pre-cut shapes to incorporate into your designs. After you finish, it's a matter of letting our kilns do its magic to fuse the pieces together to make your design come true. An additional slump firing can be done to shape your design into a plate or candle holder. Since we need to schedule our kilns for glass firing, aim to get your pieces back about 2 weeks after your workshop.

| How Much Is It? |
| It depends on the shape and size of your piece. A general guideline is as follows: 15cm x 15cm Square $40 20cm x 20cm Square $55 20cm diameter Round $45 25cm diameter Round $60 Pendants (Set of 3 minimum) $50 Pendant (additional to main projects) $20 This includes materials for one base layer, one design layer, a 1/3 sized accent layer and the first fuse firing. Pre-cut add on's are $4 to $6 each and an additional slump firing will be charged at $5.

| Great, How Do We Book? |
We will run our Glass Workshops for a minimum of two people and a maximum of eight. Although every one will work on their own projects, larger groups of 5-8 people will need to share around some of the equipment. Workshops tend to be around 1.5 hours long, shorter if you're only making some pendants, longer if you're designing a more complicated piece.
As we have a limited number of teacher and staff who can run the Glass Workshops, please contact us on 9436 2020 as soon as you have a few friends interested and we will work out an appropriate time with you. We are happy to start a workshop at 6 or 6:30pm on Thursday or Fridays, just give us a ring to schedule. At the moment, we cannot run Glass Workshops over school holidays, the next ones being July 4 to July 27 inclusive. Please contact us on 9436 2020 should you require more information and if you'd like to schedule a workshop! |
